Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking a compassionate Housing Support Assistant for Uxbridge, with night shifts available and a pay of around £14.24 per hour. The role involves delivering person-centred housing-related support, helping residents with independent living skills, and enabling access to healthcare, benefits, and services.

You will maintain tenancy records, work with local authorities and providers, and promote safeguarding and inclusion while supporting residents to sustain stable

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housing support, homelessness services, social care, or a similar support role is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one), where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred housing-related support to individuals with a range of needs.
• Assist residents with developing independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and managing household responsibilities.
• Support service users to access healthcare, benefits, employment, education, and community services.
• Help residents maintain their accommodation and comply with tenancy agreements.
• Maintain accurate records, support plans, and case notes.
• Work closely with housing providers, local authorities, and partner agencies.
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of your work.
• Respond appropriately to welfare concerns and follow organisational policies and procedures.
