Job summary

Tom Orange Recruitment Ltd in Tendring, United Kingdom, is seeking experienced HGV CE Class 1 drivers for ongoing bookings in Harwich. The role includes day and night shifts, with weekend tramping options to suit flexibility.

You will operate new Mercedes and Dafs automatics, pulling refrigerated trailers, and handle palletised loads. Expect shifts of around 10–12 hours with pre-loaded vehicles; night-out allowances apply where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CE Class 1 Licence with at least 24 months referenceable work history.
• No DR or DD convictions appear on the licence.

Responsibilities

• Day work and Night work available, Tramping to cover either one or both shifts across the weekend (to suit).
• Easy refrigerated / frozen loads Single Deck Trailers.
• Driving New Mercs & Dafs Automatics pulling refrigerated trailers.
• Trunking to RDCs with some interaction with the load.
• RDC deliveries & collections – Average shift 10 / 12 hours.
• Pre-loaded vehicle – palletised products
