Job summary

Blue Recruitment Personnel Limited is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 CE Drivers for refrigerated transport operating from Crawley and across the UK. You will perform day, night, or tramping shifts, delivering to major supermarket RDCs while maintaining safety and compliance with transport laws.

The role offers ongoing, year-round work in a professional transport environment with a well-maintained fleet and on-site parking. Immediate starts available, with a competitive night-out allowance.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 CE licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 9 points on licence, with no DR, DD, CD or TT endorsements due to insurance requirements.
• Good understanding of driver hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations.
• Reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out HGV Class 1 RDC deliveries across the UK.
• Transport temperature-controlled fridge loads safely and efficiently.
• Complete day work, night work, or tramping routes depending on availability.
• Deliver to major supermarket distribution centres.
• Complete some unloading or pallet splitting at RDCs when required, with minimal handball overall.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Drive safely, legally, and in line with company procedures.
• Comply with UK road transport laws, tachograph rules, and Working Time Directive requirements.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Represent Blue Recruitment Personnel and our client professionally on every shift.
