H W Martin Fleet Maintenance Ltd is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join the night shift team. You will diagnose, repair and maintain a varied fleet of commercial vehicles to ensure fast road return times.

The role requires City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent apprenticeship, with the ability to work to high standards and stay up-to-date with the latest repair techniques. Overtime is paid at enhanced rates, plus a pension, EAP, and life assurance.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification required.
• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Able to work to the highest standards.
• Fully conversant with the latest repair and maintenance techniques for commercial vehicles.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair HGVs using diagnostic computers and choose the right repair techniques.
• Maintain and repair vehicles and components independently.
• Carry out inspections (MOT, tachograph, etc.).
• Provide guidance and mentoring for less experienced technicians.
