Job summary

Thomas Hardie Commercials Ltd is seeking motivated service technicians for our Trafford Park site to join the Service Department on a 4 on 4 off night shift from 6pm to 6am, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles and trailers. You will diagnose faults, carry out tests, and perform permanent repairs.

A City & Guilds or NVQ level 2+ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is required, with a full UK driving licence; HGV licence preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2+ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Experience diagnosing, servicing, maintenance and repair of vehicles.
• Experience working on commercial vehicles is required.
• Full UK driving licence; HGV licence preferred but not essential.
• Friendly, confident, and professional with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a larger team or on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance and repair on commercial vehicles/trailers.
• Diagnose faults and carry out tests on vehicles.
• Effect permanent and complete repairs.
• Work on a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern from 6pm to 6am.
