Job summary

Consult2Recruit is assisting a major commercial vehicle network in Trafford Park (M17 1TR) to recruit an experienced HGV Technician for a permanent night-shift role. You will service, maintain and repair heavy trucks, using modern tooling and diagnostics.

The position offers £25.21 per hour, a 4 on/4 off night pattern (18:00–06:00), a Technician Grade Bonus, manufacturer-led training and clear progression towards Class 1 licences, plus strong long-term stability.

Qualifications

• Experienced HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of heavy commercial vehicles.
• Diagnostics and fault-finding using modern tooling and systems.
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards.
