Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Limited is recruiting for an HGV Technician on a night shift in the UK. You\'ll join a modern workshop and keep a large commercial fleet running safely while enjoying a 4-night week and weekends off.

This role offers £52,400 per year, a 4-day working week, and real work-life balance. You’ll perform servicing, fault-finding, MOT preparation and repairs with a professional, proactive team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently on nights.
• A professional and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults.
• Conducting inspections and MOT preparation.
• Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs.
