Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers for night trunking work based in Immingham, United Kingdom. The role offers Monday to Friday shifts at a rate of £16 per hour with ongoing and ad-hoc work options. UK applicants only and sponsorship is not provided.

Drivers will complete night-time trunking, transport goods between depots, perform vehicle checks, and ensure compliance with hours regulations and tachograph records while maintaining professionalism and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Requires HGV Class 2 (C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations.
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Completing night-time trunking runs between designated locations.
• Safely transporting goods between depots.
• Carrying out thorough vehicle checks before and after each journey.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate driving hours and tachograph records.
• Complying with all road transport legislation and company procedures.
• Maintaining a professional and positive attitude when representing the company.
