Job summary

Driving Workforce is hiring HGV Class 2 Night Drivers for night trunking and store deliveries across the UK. Expect 40 guaranteed hours each week, with fixed night shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, and 10-hour shifts.

Earn £18.49 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay), with higher rate £20.17 on Saturdays and Sundays and weekly pay. Join a team that values reliability and safety, with potential to move into a permanent role through temp-to-perm opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV driving experience.
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Strong commitment to safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to stores and distribution centres across the UK.
• Typically 2–4 store deliveries per shift.
• Handball involved, including assisting with unloading into stores.
• Night-time trunking and store delivery work.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
