Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for regular night trunking work in Immingham, offering Monday to Friday shifts and a competitive hourly rate. The role is open to UK applicants only and requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence and Driver CPC, with tachograph card and previous Class 1 experience.

Earn £17.23–£17.32 per hour with accrual of up to 28 days holiday per year. Sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations.
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete night trunking runs between designated locations.
• Safely transport goods between depots.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after journeys.
• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate driving hours and tachograph records.
• Ensure compliance with road transport legislation and company procedures.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
