Job summary

Sure Call Recruitment & AFE Recruitment in Peterborough is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for a role with an international haulage company. You will transport loads from depot to depot for a key retail client, including routes to Birmingham, Manchester and the Midlands.

The role involves trunking and up to two drops per shift; shifts run 8–11 hours, with start times from 02:00 to 05:00 and work 5 days from 7. Excellent employee benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 driving license, CPC card, and Tachograph card.
• 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean driving record (maximum 6 points, no major endorsements)

Responsibilities

• Carry out a mix of single and multidrop deliveries (typically up to 2 drops per shift) and collect returns and equipment from stores as required.
