Job summary

Pure Staff is seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Night Driver for ongoing night shifts in the Redditch area. This temporary role offers competitive hourly rates with options for rolled-up holiday pay and a supportive transport team.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and manage deliveries efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a key holder for delivery locations.
• Opening and securing stores when required.
• Operating vehicle tail lifts safely and efficiently.
• Completing handball duties where required.
• Accurately completing POD (Proof of Delivery) documentation.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on schedule.
• Maintaining vehicle compliance and daily checks.
• Working independently throughout night shifts.
• Providing a professional and reliable service at all times.
