Job summary

DO & CO is seeking a highly motivated Health & Safety Coordinator - Night to drive health and safety standards across our operations in the United Kingdom. You will provide advice, support, and guidance to maintain a safe workplace, investigate incidents, and implement improvements.

Your role includes conducting inspections, developing safety policies, delivering training, and reporting on safety performance to management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Safety Coordinator or similar
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices
• Strong analytical skills with root cause analysis
• Airside experience is a plus but not required
• Excellent report writing with attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong organizational skills and task prioritization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
• Provide safety training to employees on hazard identification, emergency response, and safe work practices
• Prepare reports on safety performance and present findings to management
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives
• Conduct risk assessments and assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions
