Job summary

The Winchester Hotel & Spa in Winchester is seeking a Night Porter to join the team. Reporting to the Night Manager, you will greet guests, deliver high-level service, and help maintain safety and smooth operations overnight.

This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary of £26,436.80 per year, 40 hours per week, and benefits including hotel discounts, 28 days holiday rising to 33, meals on shift, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry.
• Receptionist experience preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to understand our guests’ needs to create exceptional service experiences.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Night owl and comfortable working during the night.
• Excellent communication skills—verbal and written.
• Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• To be totally guest focused by delivering excellent customer service with a friendly approach.
• Gain experience in all sections of the front desk and ensure company and legal requirements are met.
• Assist in running the hotel at night and support other departments for the next day.
• Continuously improve the quality of the hotel's services.
• Undertake night audits and hotel safety checks.
