Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd is seeking a Customer Assistant for night shifts at the Newton Abbot store. The role is part-time (16 hours per week) with a permanent contract and night availability from early morning through to dawn.

Be part of a team focused on keeping the store ready for customers and maintaining high standards of service. Applicants must be 18 or older, have UK Right to Work, and be prepared to work across various store areas including stock, checkouts, and online orders after

Qualifications

• Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering for customers
• Able to work nights, physically demanding shifts and adapt to varying hours
• Willing to learn new digital tools and technology to perform duties

Responsibilities

• Getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves and working at a steady pace during the night
• Keeping workspace tidy and aisles presentable for customers the next day
• Collecting and moving stock from warehouse to shopfloor, including heavy equipment
• Working across store areas including chilled and frozen sections
• Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete tasks accurately and safely
• Help in other areas when needed, including online orders and checkouts after training
