Job summary

Salvation Army Homes is seeking a Night Concierge to provide a waking, overnight on-site presence at Doncaster Foyer, ensuring resident safety and building security. You will engage residents with warmth and professionalism.

Seeking someone who communicates confidently under pressure, builds trust with vulnerable individuals, and supports access to community resources. The role offers an inclusive culture and opportunities to develop skills within a supportive housing environment.

The Role

The Night Concierge will provide a waking, overnight on-site presence in the Service, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and the security of the building.

What you’ll bring

• Be a confident and capable communicator, not fazed by difficult situations
• Be able to build trusting, professional relationships and have a high level of resilience.
• Take an asset-based approach to empowering people to develop their skills, strengths and talents.
• Have good knowledge or experience of working with homeless people, and / or supporting vulnerable people or groups,

Working Arrangements

• Service based at Doncaster Foyer
• Rota based including weekends
