Salvation Army Homes is seeking a proactive deputy manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to support a high-standard supported accommodation service for 12-24-year-olds. You will assist the service manager in creating structures and culture that help residents and staff thrive.
Based primarily at the Merriweather site with occasional Preston Foyer duties, the role requires leading a multi-disciplinary team, delivering plans, and maintaining compliance with OFSTED and internal procedures.

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated deputy manager, on a 12 month fixed term contract, to help deliver the goals and vision of our high standard supported accommodation service. The service is for 12-24-year-olds who have either experienced homelessness or are moving on from a children’s home setting.
The deputy manager will support the service manager in creating and maintaining the necessary structures and culture, to allow the young people and staff team to thrive.
The role is primarily based at the Merriweather site, though as we operate two sites, there may be occasion to work at our Preston Foyer site. The post is principally Monday-Friday, though some weekend and/or evening work may be required, as per needs of the service.
