Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen, part of CCH, is seeking a friendly Complex Care Assistant to support a fully dependent young child through the night in Flint. The role involves manual handling, PEG feeding, catheterisation, and close monitoring of respiration and skin condition to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Experience with complex pediatric home care is preferred; full training and DBS cover are provided, with opportunities for progression and family-friendly leave across our nationwide care

Qualifications

• Experience caring for children with complex requirements in a home care setting.
• Experience in respiratory management, PEG feeding and catheterisation would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support a young child who is fully dependent for all aspects of their care through the night.
• Assist with manual handling.
• PEG feeding and medication administration via gastrostomy.
• Monitor skin and tissue viability.
• Monitor respiration with BiPAP and oxygen saturation.
• Incontinence care with 4-hour intermittent catheterisations during the day.
