Job summary

ABM UK is seeking experienced cleaning operatives for a night shift at a London site. You will clean offices, IT workstations, and common areas as directed by the Cleaning Manager and Supervisor. Training will be provided for floor care using buffing machines and scrubbers.

The role requires attention to detail, punctuality and the ability to work in a team or alone. Uniform is provided and shift hours are Sunday to Thursday, 10pm–7am, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Smart clean appearance.
• Punctual, trustworthy and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Office cleaning / workstation cleaning (IT equipment).
• Hard floor cleaning using buffing machine / scrubber dryer.
• Vacuuming, dusting and waste removal.
• Kitchen / vending area cleaning.
• Washroom / toilet cleaning.
• Pantries cleaning and general janitorial duties.

LOCATION: 100 Bishopsgate, London, EC2N 4AA

SHIFT PATTERN: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm - 7am (including a 1-hour unpaid break), 40 hours per week.

PAY RATE: £14.80 per hour

Experienced cleaning operatives with great attention to details required. ABM uniform will be provided and must be worn at all times. To carry out cleaning duties as directed by the Cleaning Manager and Supervisor Main Duties & Responsibilities: Duties include:

• Office Cleaning / Work station cleaning (IT equipment)
• Hard floor Cleaning (Use of Buffing machine / Scrubber Dryer) Training given
• Vacuuming / Dusting / Waste removal
• Kitchen / Vending area Cleaning
• Washroom /Toilet cleaning
• Pantries Cleaning
• Machine Carpet cleaning
• Touch Point Cleaning
• Cleaning crockery

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Smart Clean Appearance
• Can work as part of a team as well as working alone
• Being able to use a buffing machine an advantage (not essential as training will be given) A proactive/can do attitude to work.
