Job summary

ABM is recruiting an experienced cleaning operative for a location at GLA City Hall, London. The role features flexible shifts (day and night) with a pay rate of £14.80 per hour.

You will wear the ABM uniform and perform cleaning duties as directed by the Supervisor, including hard floor care and kitchen areas. Relevant experience and good communication are preferred, with training provided for buffing machines and equipment.

Qualifications

• Cleaning operative with great attention to detail and ABM uniform provided.
• Ability to use buffing machine; training will be given.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working in a team or alone.
• Smart appearance and pro-active attitude.

SHIFT PATTERN: Flexible - as per shifts available (day shift and night shift), 0 hours per week

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Experienced cleaning operatives with great attention to details required. ABM uniform will be provided and must be always worn. To carry out cleaning duties as directed by the Supervisor.

• Hard floor Cleaning (Use of Buffing machine / Scrubber Dryer) Training given
• Kitchen / Vending area Cleaning

Person Specification

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Smart Clean Appearance
• Can work as part of a team as well as working alone
• Being able to use a buffing machine an advantage (not essential as training will be given) A proactive/can do attitude to work.
