Job summary

Accor is hiring a Night Cleaner for The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush in London. The role covers overnight cleaning of public and back-of-house areas, adherence to brand standards, and a focus on guest care.

You’ll report issues to housekeeping and follow COSHH guidelines while maintaining a safe work environment. You’ll join a vibrant property in West London with opportunities to train, develop, and progress within the Accor family.

Qualifications

• You have a high level of verbal and written communication skills and competent computer skills.
• You have the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service public areas and back of house overnight to brand standards.
• Report maintenance defects in public areas and back of house to housekeeping management.
• Ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to and report breaches to Head Housekeeper.
• Handle cleaning materials correctly and follow COSHH regulations.
• Attend all required training sessions.
• Provide the highest level of customer care and a friendly, helpful, responsive service for guests.
• Assist in cleaning other areas of the hotel as required.

We’re looking for a Night Cleaner to join us at The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush.

Our fourth London Hoxton is located in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush, in the beating heart of an eclectic and diverse neighbourhood, with 237 playfully designed bedrooms and an all-day restaurant - Chet’s serving Thai American comfort food. Featuring a large open lobby with vintage seating and cosy corners, 237 bedrooms of different sizes, as well as a central wraparound bar and terrace, The Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush is perfectly located for exploring West London.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

• To be responsible for the cleaning and servicing of public areas and back of house areas overnight, ensuring that these are always cleaned to brand standards, and are well presented and maintained.
• To be responsible for reporting any maintenance defects in public areas and back of house to the housekeeping management team.
• To ensure that all Health and Safety standards are adhered to and any breaches in standards are reported to the Head Housekeeper.
• To ensure all cleaning materials are handled correctly and to be fully aware of COSHH regulations.
• To attend all training sessions required.
• To always maintain a positive and friendly attitude, even when working to find solutions to challenges.
• To provide the highest level of customer care, and to provide a friendly, helpful and responsive level of service for our guests.
• To assist in the cleaning of any other areas of the hotel as required.
