Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd on behalf of our well known client in the Peterborough area is recruiting multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team. Shifts run Monday to Sunday with start times between Midnight and 5am and weekend work required.

You will safely handle and convey palletised packages to sub depots, assist with loading/unloading using a tail lift and pump truck, and maintain professional, courteous customer interactions on behalf of the company.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Be prepared to undertake a driving assessment.
• Good communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.
• Emphasising safe driving practices and accurate documentation.
• Typically completing 3 to 4 runs per day.
• Assist with loading/unloading using tail lift and pump truck.
• Engage with customers professionally on behalf of the company.
