Job summary

Qube Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Night Driver for the Doncaster area on a temporary-to-permanent basis. You will deliver goods to Tesco stores, work night shifts, and manage cage and roll container handling with strict compliance to hours and safety rules.

The role requires a valid Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, with prior Class 1 experience preferred. Ongoing work for reliable, professional drivers is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 1 vehicle to deliver goods to Tesco stores.
• Completing store deliveries in line with planned routes and delivery schedules.
• Handling cages and roll containers.
• Safely manoeuvring the vehicle in store delivery areas and loading bays.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
• Completing delivery paperwork and following all delivery procedures.
• Maintaining regular communication with the transport team regarding delays or issues.
• Providing a professional and courteous service when delivering to Tesco stores.
