Job summary

ARR Craib Transport Ltd. in Aberdeen requires an experienced driver for trunking between Aberdeen and Glasgow and back, operating double decker trailers and securing loads for transit.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, maintain open communication with the transport team, and attend regular training to meet industry standards and customer expectations. The role starts 17:00 on weekdays and includes a night uplift for hours from 21:00 to 04:00, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Use a double decker trailer to trunk from Aberdeen to Glasgow and back to Aberdeen.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team with progress updates.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry standards.
