Job summary

ARR Craib Transport Ltd in Glasgow is seeking a Class 1 Driver to operate long-distance trunk routes, double up with another driver on the Birmingham leg and return to Queenslie depot. You will ensure loads are secured and perform daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone.

You will join a team focused on customer service, meet deadlines, and participate in regular training. A £1,000 welcome bonus and night shift premium (£2.75 per hour) are part of the package, with overtime paid after

Qualifications

• UK Class 1 CE Licence required.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph Driver Card mandatory.
• Proven commitment to customer service and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Double up with another driver for long-distance routes.
• Trunk from Queenslie to the Central Hub in Birmingham and return to Queenslie depot.
• Load and secure goods using straps and nets.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks via company phone.
• Maintain regular transport team communication and provide progress updates.
• Attend regular training sessions to stay updated on industry standards.
