Job summary

Temp Station Ltd in Manchester (M17) is recruiting class 1 container drivers for night shifts. You will collect containers using a skeleton trailer and deliver to customers, with 1–3 deliveries daily and potential trailer swaps. Training packages and on-site induction are provided for the right candidates.

Requirements include a Category C+E licence, CPC/Digi card, and a clean record (no more than 6 points). Training and full PPE are supplied, with uniforms available.

Qualifications

• Must have a Category C+E Licence.
• 6 months class 1 containers experience preferred, though not essential as training packages can be provided for the right candidates.
• CPC and Digi card required.
• Full PPE provided.
• Provide a high level of customer service skills.
• Uniforms – Hi Viz and company logo uniform can be provided at no cost.

Responsibilities

• Consistently exceed client expectations.
• Meet the clients' operational standards
• Collect and drop boxes safely and securely
• Follow the clients' policies and procedures
• Adhere to driver rules and regulations
• Complete the relevant paperwork
• Comply with security regulations
• Ensure uniforms are clean and neat
• Keep Vehicles used in a clean and tidy condition
• Carry out any other relevant duties required by the line manager at the depot to ensure effective performance
• Candidates must have good communication skills
