Job summary

Pertemps Milton Keynes is seeking experienced Class 1 night drivers to support a well-known retail brand in the Bedford area. The role is full-time on a temporary contract, paying £19.22 per hour, with Sunday to Thursday shifts starting between 22:00 and 00:00.

Trunking routes involving Wag & Drag or Artic work are available, up to 48 hours per week depending on volume. Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with at least six months of relevant

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months Class1 driving experience.
• Wag & Drag experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of transport legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive Wag & Drag or Artic work on trunking routes.
• Follow shift pattern: Sunday to Thursday, start between 22:00 and 00:00.
• Comply with transport legislation and complete screening & induction.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
