Job summary

Lloyd's Register International is seeking a Night Care Assistant for Lake House in Adderbury, Oxfordshire. The role involves overnight care from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday to Friday, with working alternate weekends. You will support residents with daily routines and personal care in a warm home environment.

We welcome experienced carers and newcomers, with induction and ongoing development, and a benefits package including enhanced weekend pay and a pension. NVQ in care or equivalent is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing personal care and daily living assistance.
• Ability to communicate with residents, families and colleagues.
• Understanding of dignity, respect and safety in elder care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily routines and personal care tasks.
• Support mobility, bathing, dressing and toileting needs with compassion.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or wellbeing.

Night Care Assistant

Location: Lake House, Adderbury, Oxfordshire

Pay Rate: £14.85 per Hour (NVQ & Weekend Enhancements Available)

Contracted Hours: 27 Hours per week

Shift Pattern : 10:00PM - 7:00AM Monday - Friday ( Working Alternate weekends)

This home is set in an attractive residential cul-de-sac in the picturesque rural village of Adderbury, close to Banbury. Lake House offers a welcoming,warm atmosphere and is divided into four households that offer residential, respite and early-stage dementia care.

We are looking for you to work as a care assistant making a real difference to our residents lives every day. Along with supporting daily routines and personal care (washing, bathing, supporting toilet use) we are looking for the right people to genuinely care for our residents and create a happy fulfilled life for them. Some days may be challenging but you will laugh, have fun and make lasting memories. You’ll become part of our extended family too, bringing kindness, exceptional care and dignity to our care homes.

We are looking for both experienced carers and those that are new to care to build our teams with diverse people who can bring all sorts of life experience to the job. We provide induction training and support, with ongoing development opportunities for you to really build a career with us.
