Job description

The Best Connection is currently working with a well-respected care home in Bynea, Llanelli, to find a dedicated Night Care Worker. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real difference in the lives of residents. This is a potential permanent opportunity for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and support to residents during night shifts.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Monitor the health and well-being of residents, reporting any changes to senior staff.
• Ensure the safety and security of residents throughout the night.
• Support residents with their bedtime routines and ensure they are comfortable.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as required.
• Follow care plans and document care provided accurately.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
• Minimum of 6 months of care experience.
• Compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK as we do not offer sponsorship.
• Registration with Social Care Wales or willingness to register.

Shifts:

• 21:00 - 08:00
• Weekly rota, including weekend availability
