Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a caregiver to provide care and support to service users within a very sheltered housing facility in Scotland. The role involves night shifts of 10 hours on a rota basis, with weekends possible.

You will be part of a team focused on quality service delivery and continuous improvement. The position is fixed term until 31 July 2027 and requires PVG scheme check, SSSC registration within 3 months, overseas criminal record check if applicable, and two references.

Qualifications

• This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to service users within a sheltered housing facility.
• Work on a rota basis doing 1 shift of 10 hrs per night and may include weekends.
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
