Job summary

Inglewood Residential Home is seeking a permanent night support worker to join the Cumberland Council managed care home for older people, including those with dementia and complex health needs. The role focuses on personal and physical care, helping with medication, and supporting residents to stay active and independent.

Shifts are 9.30pm–7.30am, ~24 hours weekly, with alternating weekends and bank holidays on a set rota.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check with adult barred list check.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and physical care to residents on night shifts.
• Get to know residents individually and support their wellbeing and emotional needs.
• Assist residents with medication as needed.
• Encourage good nutrition, fitness and mobility.
• Support residents to maintain their independence and live as they choose.
• Work unsupervised with adults in regulated activity.
