Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker to join Beckly House in Shelf, Halifax. The role is full-time, 42 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, nights, and a two-week rolling rota including alternate weekends.

You will support people with learning disabilities and complex needs to lead a more person-centred life. Key duties include providing physical and emotional support, safeguarding, maintaining a safe environment, helping service users access the community, and supporting

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs.
• Safeguard
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
• Supporting service users to access the community, to attend things like work, college, hobbies & activities, days out & holidays.
• Supporting the service users to grow, develop & learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking & cleaning
