St Catherine’s Nursing Home in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Night Carer to join our caring team. You will support residents with daily living, personal care and companionship during night shifts, ensuring comfort, safety and dignity at all times.

We offer full or part-time roles, with full training provided and opportunities to undertake a Health and Social Care certificate. We are Living Wage employers with a range of staff benefits and discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings is preferred.
• Willingness to undertake health and social care certificate training.
• Ability to work full time or part time shifts, including nights.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities and companionship.
• Assist with personal care including hygiene and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment for residents.
• Record and report changes in residents’ health or wellbeing to the team.
