Job summary

Westgate Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Care Practitioner to join our team. You will provide person-centred care for elderly residents, supporting daily living, medication administration, and accurate record-keeping.

A strong focus on dignity, independence and wellbeing is essential. The role requires 39 hours per week, 8:00pm–8:00am with a paid handover, and 3–4 shifts per week including alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• The right to live and work in the UK.
• Previous experience in a care home or working with the elderly is essential to be considered.
• QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Medication trained.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting residents with daily living while promoting dignity and wellbeing.
• Safely administering medication according to prescriptions and procedures.
• Completing accurate care records and required documentation daily.
