You will be part of the Child Care Team, supporting pupils with SEMH and related needs during night hours, ensuring their welfare and safety in line with school policies. The role requires enthusiasm and commitment to children with complex behavioural, social and emotional difficulties, with responsibilities for care within the keyworker group.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and energetic Night Child Care Officers for our new purpose built school in Chelmsford. To work as a member of the Child Care Team in accordance with the school's policies, with responsibilities for tasks relating to the care and welfare of pupils, and specifically those within the keyworker's group. Applicants must be enthusiastic, with an understanding of and commitment to children with complex behavioural, social and emotional difficulties.

Information about the SchoolThis SEN school is offering a nurturing, inclusive environment for 65 pupils with SEMH and associated needs with residential provision for fifteen pupils. We have high expectations for each child to leave as a confident young adult who is well prepared for the future. The school which will be located in central Chelmsford and will deliver great practice and informative teaching aims at supporting the children and young people to access meaningful outcomes and life pathways.
