Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Care Assistant - Nights at Westbourne Tower Care Home in Bournemouth. You will deliver high standards of personal care and support the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.

No experience is required as we provide a thorough induction and training programme to ensure confidence in your role. You will need to communicate effectively, show initiative, and be flexible to cover a range of night-time responsibilities.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful toward residents and staff.
• Efficient worker who can follow reasonable instructions from team members.
• Able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

Aufgaben

• Assisting residents in personal hygiene care, maintaining independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections) and escalate as needed.
• Be courteous to residents and visitors, upholding dignity and individuality of each resident.
• Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
