Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Care Assistant – Nights at Westbourne Tower Care Home in Bournemouth. You will deliver high standards of personal care and join a close-knit team dedicated to exceptional care for residents.

No prior experience required; a thorough induction and training programme will be provided. DBS disclosure will be funded by Avery and eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Initiative and respect for residents.
• Efficient worker able to follow instructions and adapt to covering varied responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care to residents.
• Contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services.
• Assist residents in personal hygiene, maximising independence and dignity.
• Identify and escalate clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections).
• Be courteous to residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
• Follow safe working practices across tasks.
