Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a Health Care Assistant for night shifts in Norwich to support a client with a spinal injury. Work involves personal care, moving and handling, nutrition, hydration and continence needs, plus companionship and activities of the client's choice.

Occasional day shifts available, with mandatory meet-and-greet and two shadow shifts before lone working. Candidates must be over 18, have at least 6 months UK care experience, speak good English, and be able to travel within 25

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months UK care experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Clear enhanced DBS (to apply on registration)

Responsibilities

• Personal care, moving and handling, nutrition, hydration and continence support
• Provide companionship and engage in activities chosen by the client
• Attend meet and greet and two shadow shifts before lone working duties
• Cover night shifts with 12-hour durations
