Job summary

Highgate Care in Harrogate is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our Crystal Court night team. You’ll support residents with daily living, maintain dignity, and ensure a warm, safe environment overnight.

Be part of a small, compassionate group that values kindness, continuous training, and career development. The role requires flexibility across some evenings and weekends, with a friendly, supportive team behind you.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience preferred.
• Warm, compassionate approach to residents.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities (washing, toileting, dressing).
• Assist with physical, emotional and spiritual care while maintaining dignity.
• Monitor residents, especially those with limited mobility or confusion.
• Record daily care notes following policy and procedures.
• Support in social activities and engage residents in hobbies.
