Job summary

Highgate Care in Harrogate is seeking a Care Assistant (Nights BANK) based at Crystal Court, Harrogate. You will support residents with daily living while upholding dignity and compassion in a small, person-centred team.

The role requires warmth, reliability and flexibility across evenings and weekends. Full-time 44 hours per week, paying £13.81 per hour, with opportunities for training and career progression in a friendly workplace.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing and daily living tasks.
• Assist with physical, emotional and spiritual care while maintaining dignity.
• Help residents with limited mobility and use of aids.
• Monitor residents who are confused or have behavioural problems.
• Promote continence.
• Record daily notes and follow care planning procedures.
• Support residents in social activities and hobbies.
• Answer nurse call, door, and phone promptly.
