The post offers a flexible pattern (full time, part time and relief). An AccessNI Enhanced Disclosure Check is required, and a valid UK driving licence is desirable for mobility and transport support.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience in health and social care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to develop or improve independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans.
• Work with team leaders to implement individual and group support programmes.
• Promote a safe living environment and handle challenging behaviours with appropriate techniques.
• Ensure medication is stored and administered in accordance with policy where necessary.
• Record information according to service reporting guidelines.
• Attend all relevant training and adhere to Health & Safety policies.
