Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a committed Care Assistant for a distinguished care home in the Nottingham area. You will be part of a team delivering high-quality residential and short-stay care, supporting residents with dementia and promoting wellbeing.

The role offers a permanent part-time position, working 33 hours per week on night shifts, with an excellent salary of £13.79 per hour (£23,663.64 per year). Benefits include pension, DBS checks, and ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• Respect and sensitivity for older people.
• Willingness to be trained (Level 1 or 2 in social care encouraged).
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A caring nature with patience and empathy.
• Previous care experience desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key worker for a group of residents and support admissions.
• Participate in developing and reviewing individual care plans, including for residents with dementia.
• Provide personal and social care in line with care plans, enhancing wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety practices.
