Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment are assisting a Nottingham-based care home to recruit a committed Care Assistant. You will be supporting residents with personal and social care within a purpose-built home delivering high-quality residential and respite care.

As a key worker you will contribute to care plans, including those for residents with dementia, uphold safeguarding and infection control, and work a 33-hour week on night shifts in a permanent part-time role, with benefits including pension, DBS checks

Qualifications

• Respect and sensitivity for older people.
• Willingness to be trained (Level 1 or 2 in social care encouraged).
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Caring, patient and empathetic.
• Previous care experience desirable.
• Able to work across a rota, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key worker for a group of residents and support admissions.
• Participate in developing and reviewing individual care plans, including those for residents with dementia.
• Provide personal and social care in line with care plans, enhancing residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, infection control, and health & safety practices.
