Job summary

Agincare is hiring a Care Assistant for Swan House and Swan Court in Winslow. The role is a bank, zero-hour contract requiring flexibility to cover nights and weekends, with a focus on companionship, personal care and daily living support.

You'll join a family-run team with a long-standing presence in the UK care sector and access to funded training up to QCF level 5, plus a pension scheme and a refer-a-friend bonus. A right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Flexible to work nights and weekends as required
• Minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care – supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care
• Medication – Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages
• Domestic tasks – light cleaning tasks
• Mobility – Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility
• Social activities – Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home
