Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a passionate Night Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Riversway Nursing Home in Bristol. We offer full or part-time positions with set night shifts from 8pm to 8am, across a 7-day rota, to support residents with dignity and compassionate care.

You will work as part of a caring team, providing personal care, welfare checks, nutrition support, mobility assistance, and companionship while maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable, but full training is provided.
• Patience, understanding and respect for residents' abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and bedtime routines.
• Conduct routine welfare checks throughout the night.
• Support residents with meals and hydration as required.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment.
• Provide friendship and companionship to residents.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the care team to promote residents' health and well-being.
• Welcome family members to the home and assist with enquiries.
