Rawcliffe Manor Care Home - Night Care Assistant

Rawcliffe Manor has been fully refurbished into a luxury, state-of-the-art, 67-bed care home.

We provide both Residential and Dementia care, with facilities including a residents' bar, garden room, and private dining room.

Due to increasing occupancy, we are expanding our team and are looking for Night Care Assistants.

Roles available: Part-time or full-time

Shift pattern: 12-hour shifts, including some weekends

Salary: £13.50 per hour regardless of age, or £13.60 per hour with NVQ2 in Health and Social Care

Role Overview

The Care Assistant's role is to meet residents' needs in a person-centred manner that respects their dignity and promotes independence.

All staff should be:

• Flexible, caring, and compassionate
• Positive, self-motivated, and organized
• Willing to undertake necessary training for skill development
• Sensitive to others' needs
• Team players capable of working independently
• Good communicators with colleagues and residents

Key Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support based on care plans
• Serving drinks and snacks during night shifts
• Making and changing beds, tidying rooms, and light cleaning
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided
• Advocating for residents and communicating their needs to senior staff
