Dovehaven Care Homes is recruiting for a Care Assistant at Maple Lodge Residential Home, Halewood in Liverpool. Working NIGHTS 7pm-7am, with every other weekend involved, 33-hour contracts available.

Maple Lodge is a residential care home catering for up to 45 residents, specializing in dementia care. Our goal is to ensure residents feel comfortable, promoting independence, dignity, and respect through positive risk-taking and empowerment.

About the Role: As Care Assistant, you will assist in the running of the Home, maintaining high standards of care and service to residents, relatives, visitors, and staff. You will provide personal and practical care to residents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate compassion and empathy in caring for older people, through previous social care roles or other experiences.
• Be self-motivated, resilient, and well-organized.
• Dependable, able to work well under pressure, and flexible to meet the needs of residents and the Home.

Skills and Experience:

• Caring and sensitive to others' needs.
• Committed to service excellence.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to provide emotional and social support.
• Committed to high standards of care, dignity, and respect.
• NVQ Level 2 in health and social care is desirable.
