Job summary

Hallhouse Care Home, part of Belsize Healthcare, is seeking a caring Care Assistant in Fenwick. You will support residents with daily living, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following care plans to ensure dignity and wellbeing.

The role offers full training, PVG paid, pension, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave for full-time staff. Experience is helpful but not required, with a welcoming team and supportive development path.

Qualifications

• Patient-centered care approach with dignity and respect.
• SVQ Level 2 desirable and willingness to pursue training.
• Experience in care roles is beneficial but not essential.

Job description

Located in the peaceful village of Fenwick, East Ayrshire, Hallhouse Care Home provides high-quality Residential, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 47 residents. With an impressive carehome.co.uk rating of 9.9 and Care Inspectorate grades of 5, 5, 5, 4, and 5, we are dedicated to delivering compassionate, person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
