Job summary

Henderson House Care Home is seeking a Care Assistant for night shifts. You will support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, following care plans to ensure dignity and wellbeing.

This role welcomes both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop; previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Provide emotional support to residents to enhance wellbeing.
• Follow individual care plans to deliver safe, responsive and dignified care.
• Work as part of a supportive team with training and development available.

Care and Support - Henderson House Care Home

Contract: Full Time
Salary: £13.60 Per Hour
Shift type: Nights
Contracted hours: Full Time or Part Time

Henderson House Care Home is a well established care home in the coastal town of Dalgety Bay in Fife, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 60 residents. With a strong, experienced team and a welcoming, homely atmosphere, this is a service where staff can feel supported, valued and confident in delivering high quality care within a stable and well run environment.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Full time and part time contracts available
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
