Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Farnborough seeks a Licensed Avionics Inspector - Nights (FAR) to ensure maintenance compliance with UKCAA standards and MOE Part 145. The role covers base and line maintenance input, certification of tasks, and supervision of manpower resources at Luton and other locations.

The successful candidate will have extensive maintenance experience, aircraft inspection and certification credentials, and strong knowledge of aviation legislation.

Qualifications

• Extensive combination of line & base maintenance experience.
• Evidence of aircraft inspection and certification experience.
• Experience within the corporate industry an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Aviation Legislation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible approach to working patterns.

Responsibilities

• Acting as an inspector in support of a specific aircraft, line or base maintenance input in accordance with MOE Part 145.
• Perform the day to day duties of a Maintenance Team Leader when requested.
• Oversee manpower resources and certify tasks trained on and authorised to perform.
• Promote and ensure maintenance documentation is completed to standard for the UKCAA.
• Promote and ensure that line or base maintenance commitments are fulfilled within the timescales.
